Nicole wanted to go to Busch Gardens this weekend since it was the last weekend before school starts. Kylie and Haylee's preschool passes expire this weekend so we decided to go. I didn't want to go on Saturday, Sunday or Monday because I knew it would be packed being Labor Day weekend and the last weekend before school starts so I decided to take off work today and go. Kimberly has been under the weather with an abscessed tooth so she decided not to go. We decided to bring Kylie with us so we let Kylie and Haylee spend the night so Nicole only had to worry about getting the boys ready. We met her at our normal location and Nicole and the boys rode with us. Jeff ended up sitting in the very back between the girls so the boys had the middle cabin chairs and Nicole was up front with me. Now that our family is growing we really won't be able to go in one vehicle anymore. We got to Busch Gardens about an hour after they opened and stayed till around 6:00, they closed at 7:00. I'm surprised we lasted that long or should I say Nicole lasted that long. We did take a lot of breaks so she could rest and the babies could eat. On the way home we decided to stop at Cracker Barrel for dinner as the boys were getting fussy and needed to eat. It ended up being a long day but we had fun on our last visit to Busch Gardens for the year. Till next year, Busch Gardens!

Saying Good-bye and Busch Gardens
This morning we said good-bye to Mom and Dad. It has been nice having them here these past couple of weeks. They have been a real big help to Nicole and Dave. During the week they stayed in town to be closer to them and on the weekends they came out to our place to visit with us. We will definitely miss them. Thank you so much for coming, Mom and Dad, and all your help, we really appreciate it!

Pictures From This Past Week
Here are some pictures of the twins, Haylee and me that I have taken in the past week or so. When I see the twins it's hard not to take at least a couple pictures of them since they are so darn cute.

Kimberly's Birthday Celebration
Today we celebrated Kimberly's birthday even though it isn't till the 21st. It's just easier to celebrate birthdays on the weekend when everyone is off of work. Unfortunately, Dave couldn't join us because he was working. This year, Mom and Dad got to join us since they arrived on Friday. Kimberly picked Kabuki Japanese for dinner. The girls usually pick a Japanese place for their birthdays.

After dinner we went back to Nicole and Dave's to open presents and have some birthday cookie.
Happy Early Birthday, Kimberly!

Mom and Dad Arrive
I think last night or should I say this morning I got about three hours of sleep. After their midnight feeding they wouldn't go back to sleep. I laid them down in the playard and they just moaned and groaned and moved around so I decided to put them in the swing and bouncy seat but that didn't work either. So around 2:30-3:00 I decided to just go ahead and feed them again. Well, that did it, they went to sleep till 6:00.
good morning, Jackson and Noah
Kimberly brought me breakfast, a toothbrush and toothpaste so I don't knock over Mom and Dad with my breathe so that was nice of her.

Grandma's big helper
Mom and Dad arrived this afternoon for two weeks to help Nicole and Dave out. Unfortunately, Nicole couldn't be at the house when they arrived to meet the boys since she was in the hospital so we FaceTime with her so she could see their reaction.

Nicole Goes Back in the Hospital
Today Nicole woke up not feeling well. She had no energy and couldn't seem to stay awake. Around 6:00 we decided she needed to take her temperature. She has been cold on and off all day. Well, she had a temperature of 103. So Dave took her to the ER where they decided to admit her. She has an infection and she has to be temperature free for 24 hours before they will release her. I am staying the night with Haylee and the boys.

Terrisa, Ashleigh and Reese's Last Day
Today is Terrisa, Ashleigh and Reese's last day with us. I want to thank them for taking Haylee with them on their outings so I could be at the hospital with Nicole. That was such a big help to Jeff and I and we really appreciate it. Thanks, Terrisa and Ashleigh! I hope you guys can come back next year so I can spend more time with you guys.

Twins Come Home
Yesterday, Terrisa, Ashleigh and Reese went to the beach. They invited Haylee to go with them which she loved. Thanks Terrisa for inviting her!
Nicole and Noah were released from the hospital; however, Jackson had to stay. They had moved him to a regular bed to see if he can maintain his temperature on his own and he has to do that for 24 hours before he can be released. His blood sugar is now where it should be. Since Nicole is breastfeeding the babies they wanted to see if they would be able to get a one night courtesy stay. They weren't granted the courtesy stay even though there were rooms available. They then checked with Guest Services but those room are only available to people who live out of state which Nicole and Dave don't. So Dave decided to get a hotel room close to the hospital so they could run back in forth to feed Jackson every three hours. It was decided that I would spend the night too so I could watch Noah while they go to the hospital. When Kimberly got to the hotel, Jeff and I left to go meet Terrisa, Ashleigh, Reese and Haylee for dinner at Applebee's. Then I went home to grab some clothes then headed back to the hotel for the night.
Today, Haylee spent the day with Terrisa, Ashleigh and Reese which was a big help to me. I didn't have to rush home to get her before Jeff left for work at noon. They went to Knotts Island via the ferry for a little bit before they dropped her off at Kimberly's for a nap.
We were at the hospital around 11:00 and found out that Jackson was going to be released around 1:30 or so. Praise God!
